The Crucifixion

If Jesus could do miracles, why did he allow people to do this to him? Why didn’t Jesus defend himself? Why did he ask forgiveness for the people who did this to him? Jesus knew that his death had a reason and that it was God’s plan to save humanity. He was about to overcome death and give everyone a chance at a new life. Jesus loved people so much that he was willing to give up his life for them, even the people who took his life. Jesus loves you and me too! We can have a new life because of him!
